Mike's Bikes of San Francisco

Mike's Bikes is a really big shop with a lot of stock to check out in the store. I like to do that when I'm there to get service on one of my bikes. The modern touches like text message updates helps you know what to expect, any issues uncovered and when to expect your bike to be ready. The expertise in the shop is deep. You see their riders in the front at races. The shop was busy on a Tuesday afternoon with a couple employees helping customers in front and a couple more in back working on bikes. I demand a lot from my bicycles and Mike's Bikes has always delivered.

I didn't meet Mike. But Danny is fantastic! Kind, patient, helpful, knowledgable, down-to-earth. I've got my new favorite bike store.

Twice in the past month, the bumpy bike lane along Folsom Street in SOMA due to construction caused my chain to pop off my Mission Bicycle (internal hub, so no derailleur). Both times I walked my bike over to Mike's Bikes and they fixed my chain, no questions asked and didn't even ask for payment. Great bike shop crew, super friendly.
