The best part was the test ride. They expertly sized me for a bike, adjusted the saddle, and took the time to explain all the features before I set off. I recently bought a bike from New Wheel, and it was a great experience. I had a general idea of what I wanted, but I wasn't sure about the specific bike--I went back to New Wheel multiple times to test ride various bikes, figure out what *really* felt comfortable to me in a bike and what didn't, and ultimately decided to make a custom order through them. When the bike came in, they got it all set up for me and took plenty of time to make sure it was, again, perfectly tuned and adjusted to fit comfortably. Overall, a great experience, and I am very happy with my bike. One additional note: they have a great test ride route that includes both some nice pleasant flatish surfaces as well as some steep hills. Very convenient for getting a good sense for what bike and power level will work for you in a hilly city like SF.

It's THE BEST store; I bought a cargo bike here; let me share my experience. Pre-sale I had to make an appointment to let Know more about the bikes. This was my first e-bike ever, and I needed in-person information even tho I had previously looked at several brands and models. At the time of my appointment, Yannis helped me. It was a great experience; Yannis provided detailed information about the bicycles and explained each difference carefully. English is not my first language, and Yannis was patient with me. When we took a road test, he came with me and explained more information about the bicycle, the pros and cons of the model I was riding, and how well it fits into my needs. It had been a while since I rode a bike, and I was nervous, but Yannis was supportive and patient, making my road test a pleasant experience. After the road test, I was sure I wanted to do business with them. They sent me the quote when I arrived home after visiting the shop. Placing the order was super easy, making the order online without any problems. After two weeks and before the estimated arrival time, they called me to schedule the pickup since it arrived early. Picking up Like the first visit, I had to make an appointment for pick up. After my arrival, the team at the shop explained in detail all the features the bike had and all the paperwork. They installed additional accessories I purchased at that moment very quickly and smoothly. They offered a road test before leaving in case any further adjustments were needed, but I was in a rush, so I declined the offer, but it was nice to have. Post sale I want to thank the new wheel team for all the support and excellent customer service in handling a minor manufacturing issue with my bicycle covered by the warranty—special thanks to Jason F. For the assistance and the follow-up in my case, they care about the customer service and the experience. They are more than just selling ebikes. It is an absolute pleasure doing business with them.
